IPB University rector, Prof. Dr. Arif Satria express his regards to all IPBNesian on this achievement. “Congratulation, this achievement is really incredible. Thank you for all IPBNesian hard work so we can be number one in South East Asia this year. I hope we can improve our achievement and reputation in the next opportunity so we can grow higher. Strengthen our growth mindset, be optimist so we can be better in all time”, he said.

IPB University got 71.3 total score in Agriculture and Forestry Subject, higher than last year with 70.8 total score. There was significant increase in employer reputation score from 81.3 in last year becoming 86.1 in this year and citation score from 62.5 to 72.0 this year. It shows that the academic performance of IPB University and graduates is considered very good.

Vice Rector for Internationalization, Cooperation and Alumni Relations, Prof. Dodik R Nurrochmat said, QS World University Ranking is one of the world's university ranking systems which is the main reference for various universities in the world, including Indonesia. "This year, from around 5500 universities, there are 1000 universities that are included in the ranking list. Among them are eight State Universities (PTN) from Indonesia”, he explained.

IPB University also listed another scientific field that was included in the ranking, Economics & Econometrics Subject, it became four scientific fields that were included in the ranking (Agriculture & Forestry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, and Economics & Econometrics).

IPB University also ranked 601-620 in the field of Biological Science, 351-400 in Environmental Science and the best in Indonesia, ranking 401-450 in the field of Economics and Econometrics which is the third best in Indonesia. (dh/Zul)
